All the dogs in our breeding program are screend for health, temperment working ability and conformation BEFORE BREEDING!
Documentation on each specific dog IS provided on our website so you as a potential home can SEE what testing is done.
All our dogs are MICROCHIPED so ID can be verified..

Our health testing includes.
OFA and or Penn Hip (for Hips), OFA - Elbows, Thyroid, Cardiac and patella
CERF for eyes annually- each dog till a min of 8 years old.

DNA Parantage profiling with both AKC and ASCA- Our dogs blood is also in the ASCA gene bank for future reaserch.

DNA testing for genetic markers that have been shown to be risk factors or ID dogs that are carriers to prevent producing affecteds.
This includes
PRA/CEA with optigen
Cateracts Mutation test with AHT
MDR1 Testing
We are also adding Colbalmine malasorption DNA on select dogs with risk factors in their pedigree for this issue

We follow and recommend the genetic screening test list put out by the Australian Shepherd health and Genetics insitute.

Our dogs can be looked up in the online OFA PUBLIC database, Feel free to do so. (www.offa.org) and copies of OFFICAL certificates can be provided.

Please be aware as buyers become more educated.. many websites say things to make thing seem "good" they state health testing..and actually have no prof.. or think that "vet checked" is what health tesing is.. IT is not..
Certification is done with trips to special vets, and is doucmented by certification from the OFA, CERF, Optigen, Penn Hip.. a general veterinary exam is NOT health testing..

Be a educated buyer, and be picky..
