All our dogs are placed on detailed written contracts, This outlines our expectations for you along with and OUR responsiblities to you.
We include health/temperment/quality warentee that extendes to 5 years.. and covers concerns of Hip/Elbow/Eye and epilepsy with an additional warentees for faults and fertility on show/breeding.
ALL of our dogs are placed AS companions first, show/perfomance dogs second. We Place our dogs in homes with the time and intrest in a breed that does need a home willing and able to devote time and training to keep their dog mentally and physically stimulated. This may be a active companion home, show or performance home.
We want all our dogs to be loved companions and not just breeding or kennel dogs. So we do not sell dogs "Just" for breeding purposes. We do not sell our dogs to homes without the time or intrest in doing and interacting with their dog DAILY.. or homes that are overbooked, looking for a yard dog or a dog that will spend all day alone.
Our Companion/Pet dogs are the pups that perhaps do not have 100% of the qualities needed in a potential show breeding dog. We actually are very selective in what we will consider a show quality pup so the majority of our pups are sold as pet/perfomance quality.
Comapnion/pet puppies ARE sound attractive and NOT defective. Pet vs Show has nothing to do with the buyers wishes or some "price diffrence" if you want to pay for papers or breeding rights. It is how the pup in question evaluates.. because these pups are NOT BREEDING QUALITY.. WE do place our Companion/pet puppies on LIMITED REGISTRATION (this is ASCA/AKC registration papers marked NOT for breeding). We do require our companion pups be spayed/neutered. Companion pups can still compete in all the performance sports and in some cases ASCA's alterd conformation program if a owner has intrest in this..
Show/Performance/Breeding- WE care about our dogs..We do not allow breeding of any dog before all health clearances have be completed on your dog and the dog has recieved some titles in one or several venues. Our show/breeding prospecst are placed on co-ownership to homes with a legitimae intrest in completing health clearances and showing and competing to attain titles. We do not just allow our dogs to be bred for the sole purpose of having a litter of puppies to sell.
This is to ensure that our puppies and any puppies that may be a result of breeding a dog that carreies the muddyfeet kennel name do not end up is resuce, shelters or breeding for comercial gain.
