Health Guarantee
MondouCu German Shepherds maintains the highest possible standards of health, cleanliness and care, including but not limited to: proper sanitation, veterinary care, regular contact with a variety of people and exposure to sights, sounds and smells for proper socialization of all dogs. Guarantees ONLY apply to the original buyer.
Puppies are sold having received first shots (minimum) and worming. MondouCu German Shepherds sells only puppies or adults of sound health and temperament. MondouCu German Shepherds guarantees the health of the puppies/dogs they sell regarding the following genetic disorders:
The puppy/dog is sold guaranteed, until 7 years of age, not to have any of the following genetic disorders:
Degenerative Myelopathy
The puppy/dog is sold guaranteed, until 2 years of age, not to have any of the following genetic disorders:
Heart Murmur Thyroid Disorder EPI Von Willebrand’s Disease Genetic Epilepsy
Perianal Fistulas Pannus Inherited Sudden Cardiac Death
All puppies/dogs are to receive a Parvovirus vaccination annually, beginning one (1) year after their last puppy shot (3 vaccinations, minimum, are required) and at least every third year for distemper, adenovirus and parainfluenza.
NOTICE: Due to the German Shepherd Dog’s increased susceptibility to the canine Parvovirus, we have been advised NOT TO FOLLOW the “three year” vaccination protocol with regard to the Parvo Vaccination. Failure by the buyer to follow the above vaccination protocol will FORFEIT all guarantees.
Hip Dysplasia Guarantee
MondouCu German Shepherds guarantees their puppies/dogs sold to be free of genetic, bi-lateral hip-dysplasia under the following terms and conditions:
1. The puppy/dog must be diagnosed by two, unassociated veterinarians (one of the sellers choosing) at the cost of the buyer between 6 & 12 months of age through the use of x-rays.
The veterinarians report must clearly state that it is in the professional opinion of the veterinarian that the puppy/dog has “crippling” bi-lateral hip-dysplasia” without ANY OTHER signs of stress or trauma induced injury or illness.
OR 2. The puppy/dog is evaluated by the OFA after 24 months of age and the OFA provides written evaluation of Moderate to Severe Bi-Lateral Hip-Dysplasia.
The buyer must sign an affidavit, witnessed by a Notary, stating that the puppy has not exceeded the written standards as provided by MondouCu German Shepherds, has provided 500mg Vitamin C twice a day, everyday, since the day the puppy came home.
All costs of evaluation, treatment and transportation of the puppy/dog are the responsibility of the buyer.

MondouCu German Shepherds will replace the puppy/dog with a suitable replacement puppy as soon as such a puppy becomes available at no expense, with the exception of transportation which remains the responsibility of the buyer as soon as the seller receives written verification that the puppy/dog has been spayed/neutered. If the buyer does not choose to keep the puppy/dog the buyer must provide proof of euthanasia unless written contractual amendment is made.
