To be free of any Inherited Diseases, in the event of a problem, said breeder requires veterinarian statement and x-rays or tests for proof of problem. In addition, the breeder also has the right to have puppy examined by breeder’s veterinarian (at breeder’s expense). If a problem does exist, puppy will be returned to breeder. And purchase price refunded or replacement puppy, at the buyers request. Environmental, or human caused diseases, illness or cancers are not covered under this guarantee. Please follow the vaccination protocol given to you by Chris, as it is best for the health of your dog.
All puppies must be vet checked within 48 business hours of delivery of said puppy to new owner, guarantee is void if the puppy is not checked within that first 72 hours. You must send a copy of the vet report and receipt to Chris Hillman to keep on file. If puppy does not successfully pass veterinarian check, said puppy may be exchanged for another puppy of equal value or refund of purchase price. Shipping price (both ways) will be split between the buyer and the seller.
Said breeder will furnish records of all shots and worming up to date of sale. Breeder also guarantees the AKC papers will be sent, upon proof of spay/neuter, such as a written letter, from a licensed vet, stating the owners name, address, dogs name, microchip number and date the surgery was performed, along with the receipt from the vet office for the surgery. Should this puppy be falsely identified as spayed/neutered, and then bred or registered under another registry (such as APRI, CKC), buyer agrees to pay the seller for the full registration price of $3,500, and also agrees to surrender the AKC papers of the pup.
I, the buyer, have been informed of feeding habits (diet in particular) and been advised regarding the training of my new puppy. Furthermore, I also understand that any time in the future, I may call the breeder for any further advice in regards to any of these matters. I also hereby agree that the said puppy is sold on a limited registration unless otherwise agreed to by the breeder. This means that the puppy, (in adulthood) shall NOT be bred at any time. This guarantee is void, if said puppy is bred. If the said puppy should be a full registration I also agree that I must first contact the breeder, (Chris Hillman) before breeding to any other purebred schnauzer.
I, the buyer, also agree that I will maintain good oral care for my dog. This means brushing his/her teeth and getting his/her teeth cleaned once a year or as directed by my vet. The seller is not responsible for any oral disease, tooth or gum decay or loss, or any health issues or death associated with poor oral care.
I also agree as the purchaser of this pup, that if at anytime I am unable to keep the dog for any such reason, (moving, financial, death etc.), that I am bound by this agreement to contact Chris Hillman first and foremost before offering it up for adoption in a local paper, placing it in a shelter or with a friend.
