Tanza Basenjis can not gauarntee against all genetic health concerns in our breed as spelled out in our contract. While we can't guarantee that no dog will not be effective by genetic late onset problems that are in the Basenji Breed because at this time we do not have DNA testing, we make all potential owners aware of the problems. We do all the appropriate health testing before breeding a litter, as well as knowing the pedigree behind the Basenjis we are breeding. New puppy owners, once the puppy is in their care, are responsible for all vaccinations, heartworm preventative, providing an indoor home for the puppy.
