Ludwig's Miniature Schnauzers
Puppy showing a life threatening genetic disease or life threatening genetic defect will be replaced as follows in section 12A or section 12B.
12A. The schnauzer was examined by a licensed veterinarian on (date of exam) and found to be in good health and free of disease or genetic defect. Buyer agrees to take schnauzer to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of date of purchase. If a licensed veterinarian determines said schnauzer has a life threatening disease or genetic defect within seventy-two hours (72) after the time of purchase, A replacement pup will be offered or the purchase price will be refunded upon return of said schnauzer, AKC papers and puppy pack. Buyer agrees that seller is not responsible for any vet bills or transportation costs. Buyer and seller both agree that sale is final after 72 hours.
12B. Puppy must show life threatening genetic defect by 1 year of age and be examined by a licensed veterinarian. The breeder must be notified at once at the onset of the problem, in written report from the vet. breeder may require buyer to get a 2nd opinion at breeders veterinarian of choice. The breeders veterinarian will interpret the reports, if he concurs, then the next available replacement puppy will be given. A puppy with a life threatening genetic defect must be returned or with prior permission from breeder may be euthanized to qualify for replacement pup. A returned puppy must be returned in good condition other than the specific problem, at the buyers expense. The owner will then qualify for a replacement pup. Seller is not responsible for any veterinary costs or transportation costs for the puppy. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been neglected, abused, bred and/or euthanized without the breeders permission.
