Ludwig's Miniature Schnauzers Neuter/Spay Purchase Contract
In consideration of their mutual promises contained herein, seller and buyer agrees as follows:
1. Seller agrees to sell and buyer agrees to purchase male / female miniature schnauzer puppy
2. Buyer shall take possession of the schnauzer upon execution of this agreement, and full ownership of the schnauzer shall pass to buyer at that time.
3. Buyer agrees that this schnauzer is being purchased with an registration limited registration. Buyer further agrees to spay/neuter this schnauzer by 6 months of age.
4. Buyer agrees to supply seller with neuter/spay certificate from a veterinarian stating that the said schnauzer has been spayed/neutered by (date 6 months). Buyer further agrees that if this proof is not supplied to seller by (date 7 months) there will be a $1000.00 penalty payable to seller on demand.
5. Registration papers with limited registration will be supplied to buyer within 90 days of seller receiving written proof from a licensed veterinarian that said schnauzer has been /neutered/spayed.
6. Buyer hereby certifies that this purchase is not made by the buyer as an agent for any other person or entity, and further agrees that neither the schnauzer nor its offspring shall be sold or traded to any agent, pet store, mass commercial kennel, or puppy mill.
7. Buyer agrees at any time, this schnauzer is being mistreated, neglected, or abused the seller reserves the right to take back immediate possession and full ownership of the schnauzer without reimbursement to the buyer. Buyer further agrees to forfeit the registation papers and all medical records to the seller within 7 days of the seller taking possession of the schnauzer.
8. If buyer cannot or does not want to maintain custody of this schnauzer, at anytime during its lifetime buyer agrees that full ownership shall revert directly back to the seller, including all registation papers and medical records or seller must approve new home.
9. Buyer may not sell, transfer, or place schnauzer for adoption without written consent from seller. buyer further agrees that the schnauzer will never be given away, traded, release to any humane society, pound, shelter, rescue organization etc...
10. Buyer agrees that the schnauzer shall not be used for breeding purposes and if buyer breeds said schnauzer (by accident or by design) buyer is liable for damages reasonably calculated as a loss by seller, including but not limited to the value of $1000.00 multiplied by the number of puppies in resulting litter.
Puppy showing a life threatening genetic disease or life threatening genetic defect will be replaced as follows in section 11A or section 11B.
11A. The schnauzer was examined by a licensed veterinarian on (date of exam) and found to be in good health and free of disease or genetic defect. Buyer agrees to take schnauzer to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (5 days if shipping) of date of purchase. If a licensed veterinarian determines said schnauzer has a life threatening disease or genetic defect within 72 (5 days if shipping) after the time of purchase, A replacement pup will be offered or the purchase price will be refunded upon return of said schnauzer, registration papers and puppy pack. Buyer agrees that seller is not responsible for any vet bills or transportation costs. Buyer and seller both agree that sale is final after 72 hours (5 days if shipping). This gurantee does not cover intestinal worms and intestinal parasites which can be common in puppies although preventative precautions have been taken.
11B. Puppy must show life threatening genetic defect by 1 year of age and be examined by a licensed veterinarian. The breeder must be notified at once at the onset of the problem, in written report from the vet. breeder may require buyer to get a 2nd opinion at breeders veterinarian of choice. The breeders veterinarian will interpret the reports, if he concurs, then the next available replacement puppy will be given. A puppy with a life threatening genetic defect must be returned or with prior permission from breeder may be euthanized to qualify for replacement pup. A returned puppy must be returned in good condition other than the specific problem, at the buyers expense. The owner will then qualify for a replacement pup. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been neglected, abused, bred and/or euthanized without the breeders permission. Should a death occur, and a genetic defect is suspected to be the cause, a necropsy must be performed by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of the death and a copy of the report forwarded to Seller The breeders veterinarian will interpret the reports, if he concurs the cause of death was a genetic defect, then the next available replacement puppy will be given. Buyer is responsible for any and all veterinary charges and/or transportation costs for the puppy.
12. Buyer agrees to vaccinate as follows: Pup was vaccinated on (date of vaccinations). 2nd set is due between (date 21 days later) and (date 28 days later). continue vacinnating every 21-28 days from the date of the previous set with the last set to be given on or after 16 weeks of age. After you have completed the puppy series you will also need to vaccinate for Bordertella and Rabies. Do not let you vet vaccinate for lepto many schnauzer bloodlines have bad reactions to lepto and some have even resulted in death
13. Buyer agrees to provide the highest quality care for said schnauzer , high quality food, fresh water available at all times, shelter from heat and cold, active companionship, appropriate exercise, socialization, grooming, flea and heartworm prevention when needed, professional veterinary care whenever necessary. Appropriate professional veterinary care includes but is not limited to, annual exams, regular parasite checks and de-worming if necessary, current on all vaccinations including bordertella.
14. Buyer gives seller permission to use any pictures of said schnauzer for personal or advertisment use.
15. Buyer agrees to notify seller and seller agrees to notify buyer of any change of address or phone number.

Buyer further agrees that the health guarantee will be considered null and void if schnauzer is not on the above supplement and food. supplement.
THE PARTIES AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. This agreement is binding upon the parties, hereto, their heirs, successors and/or assignees.
2. If litigation is necessary to enforce any of the provisions of this agreement, It must be resolved in sellers venue. The prevailing party shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney fees.
