Can I breed my mini mom with her son or my mini dad with his daughter?

5/19/05 I studied genetics in college and was told by my professor to never breed a parent with a sibling as this increases the chance for genetic defects...however, he did say that half brother and half sister would be okay. Kim

11/21/05 I never breed father to daughter or mother to son. You will be doubling up on any gentics faults as well as good gentics. It is best to either do line breeding or a complete outcross. whatever you decide, do not add more than one outcross to a line at a time. If you starts getting faults you won't know where it comes from. Judy
