The females are in HEAT for 3 days out of their cycle. I would say it's roughly about the 5th or 6th day of the cycle. You'll have to watch your dog to tell. Good luck!

I usually just let my male run with the female for an hour each day from the time she first shows signs untill the time she starts going out. This is a sure fire way for a good solid breeding.

Sorry. The above applies to my Border Collies. But its the same for all breeds I would think.
