I have a female silver dapple that weighs 6lbs & a male black that weighs 8 lbs. Is that too big of a size difference to breed them?

your girl is awfully small to breed, but a 2 lb difference is fine. You might want to have your vet look her over to see if he/she thinks your girl will be able to whelp a litter since she's so small.
