It really depends on the dog and her health. And how you breed her...once a year, once every other year, god forbide...each heat cycle. You vet is the best judge of when and if your dog should be bred. I seen some dogs stopped at 2 yrs old and some never stopped. I have also seem some that just didn't make a good breeder. I personally would not breed any dog after 4 1/2 years old regardless to their health at that time. Thank you for contacting me. I hope I helped you a little.
