A Visitor asked the following question on 2/3/2008
I addopted a mini 3 weeks ago,she is not spayed and she is now 10 months old.Her previous owners said she was last in heat 3 months ago.since i have had her her teats have gotten huge! they are firm and full feeling and hanging to her knees.she has gotten sick two times and won't leave my side.Her stomach does not look any bigger to me and I don't feel anything inside her.my question is this clear signs of pregnancy? and wouldn't i feel puppies? are there any other medical reasons for her teats to be so big? no milk that i can see.when should there be belly swelling?

She could possibly be having a false pregnancy. I have a girl that does this and she looks and acts pg, but there are no puppies.
