This is why our breed is in trouble! Why on earth would one want to breed a standard male to a mini female? For one thing, your standard male is almost certainly more than 20 pounds, if he is a real standard. Your mini female should be under 11 pounds at maturity. Wouldn't that indicate a problem, if these two were to be bred to each other?

the male and female need to be about the same size,for the female to have a safe pregnancy and delivery.even better if male is smaller than the female.the bigger the pups the more demand on the mothers body.if she has big pups she won't be able to deliver without an c-section
