I have a precious black and tan female. Her mama was a black & tan, her daddy a long haired dapple. I bred her to a red dapple? He is all red with one small black marking a figure 8. She had 6 beautiful puppies. 3 black and grey dapples. 2 sables and 1 red dapple.. Is there health risks? Our little dog has been such a joy in our life, and our friends and family want a part her.

There are health risks associated with double dapples which have a significant amount of white. Single dapples do not have associated health risks beyond what can be inherited for non-dapple reasons. Hope this helps!
