A Visitor asked the following question on 5/2/2007
I have a dapple female and a black and tan dapple male.I did not know that I couldn't breed a dapple to a dapple. According to their AKC papers, they both have a lot of other colors and hair types in their breeding history. Does this still mean that I should not breed them?

If the male does not have alot of dapple in the background you can breed them. I would not breed them if one of the males parents was a dapple or if the male happens to have blue eyes.
