A Visitor asked the following question on 5/1/2007
I was wondering do Doxies like to swim in water or are they afraid of it? Or does it really all depend on the dog? My doxie Oscar likes water only if I am in it but if I put him in it and I'm not in it he wants out. Is that good? Is there any possible way I can get him to go into water without me being in it?... like if he runs around and it gets hot he gets in it to cool off... and what about jumping into the pool to come to me does it all depend on the dog?

Depends on the individual dog. :) Some care for it, some don't.
