Recently I moved to a new part of town and of course needed to find a new groomer. My boyfriend surprised me one day and had my doxie freshened up. Unfortunately, my boyfriend didn't knwo that the dog is sensitive and began to develop a rash that very night. I tried to put soothing cream and ultimately gave him another bath, but he is constantly licking his willy, could he have developed an infection or something due to the harsh shampoo? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, it sounds as though he has a kidney or bladder infection due to the harsh soap. Humans even get these infections from bubble bath. I was told to give my daughters a bath in white vinegar. You could try this first, but he will probably need an antibiotic to clear up the infection.
