I HAVE A BLACK AND TAN DACHSHUND WHOM I LOVE VERY MUCH. AROUND 6 MONTHS OF AGE HE BECAME SLOWLY BALD ON HIS STOMACH AND AND NECK. NO PROBLEMS OTHER WISE. HE JUST TURNED 5 YEARS OLD AND ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO HE STARTED GROWING HAIR IN ALL THESE AREAS. HE LOOKS LIKE HE WILL GET ALL HIS HAIR BACK. HAVE U EVERY HEARD OF THIS?

11/21/06 I agree nothing to worry about, but you also should note that Dachshunds have very allergic skin. I had one to get a sale magazine I was looking at that had been printed in soy ink. Her hair fell out, but it did come back. So, make sure that your Dachshund doesn't touch anything with soy ink in it or eat anything with soy. What kind of treats do you feed him? Ra Vae
