Depends on the color patterns of the parents. For example you cross a pie and a dapple and get something that looks like a double dapple but with out the health risks.......Only can get a double dapple when you cross two dapples....

To get a Piebald both parents must be either a Piebald or a Piebald carrier(Piebald in the first two generation prefered). Many have what they consider a Piebald and it is simply a Double Dapple(if there is any spot of black on the pattern of color then it is a double dapple and not a pie). Double dapples will only produce dapples never a solid color, Jacqulyn!
