The buyer has 72hrs to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian from time of pick up. A copy of the vet exam must be sent to breeder within 1 business week or this contract is null and void. No exceptions.
Breeder guarantees to the best of their knowledge this puppy to be in good health at the time of pick up or delivery. The buyer agrees that the puppy is healthy at time of delivery. The breeder does not cover health issues that can be cured by medication or surgery. Breeder will not replace or refund for any reason, but not limited to allergy, mortality, landlord’s disapproval, disagreement of family or any other problems, or for a puppy’s illness caused by neglect, exposure to weather, injury, chocking, poisoning, etc. All puppies are sold as pets only. No warranty or guarantee is made to the disposition, life span, and size, color; show quality, or breeding quality of any puppy. Breeder will not be liable for any expenses including, but not limited to any veterinary bills or legal expenses. Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose the puppy with a life threatening genetic defect, having been there from birth and the breeders own veterinarian agrees, the breeder will replace the puppy, limited to 2 years from the date of purchase. No replacement will at any time be made on a deceased puppy until an autopsy is performed to determined cause of death. An accredited institution set up for such procedures such as A&M University must perform such an autopsy. Autopsies performed by a local veterinarian will not be accepted. The owner of the pup will pay all expenses. The autopsy will accompany any request for replacement. The breeder also has the right to have the puppy examined by his/her veterinarian. This guarantee is null and void upon any evidence of abuse or neglect, or if the buyer fails to maintain annual check ups with a qualified veterinarian. Proof of said maintenance must be furnished upon request of breeder. This guarantee is also void if your pet has been given ProHeart 6, a heartworm preventative. Puppies are susceptible to pneumonia and other infections due to drafts, cold temperature, and stress from shipping, etc., and are vulnerable to viral infections including Parvo and Corona Virus, until they have received their third vaccination. Any and all above-mentioned minor and/or major health issues need to be examined by a licensed veterinarian if they occur, and the D.V.M.’s advice should be followed. No guarantee is given against hypoglycemia or any other common health issues major or minor such as diarrhea, wormy stool, coccidiosis, parvo, giardia, ear mite, external parasites, mange, and stress due to shipping or new environment. Your puppy has been wormed frequently from two weeks of age until your possession. It is your responsibility to continue to worm your puppy and check for parasites. Vaccination must be no less than three weeks apart and no more than four weeks apart for a series of three. Rabies vaccines cannot be administered before 16 weeks of age. If you allow your veterinarian to do any of these procedures too early, your guarantee is void. There is no oral representation or warranties not contained herein. This contract of sale contains the entire agreement between the two parties. All implied guarantees are hereby excluded. This guarantee is non-transferable.
