Health Guarantee
The health guarantee shown is posted by this member. It is not, nor does it imply, a guarantee by QualityDogs.com, an endorsement by QualityDogs.com of this guarantee, or any verification of this guarantee by QualityDogs.com. The breeder listed is solely responsible for the content and satisfaction of this guarantee. For your protection, QualityDogs.com recommends obtaining a printed, signed copy of any health guarantee.
The Breeder warrants the puppy to be in excellent health and free from parasites at the time of purchase/pickup, including vaccinations at 6 weeks of age and has been de-wormed on a regular basis. The breeders’ veterinarian has made a final health check and a current health certificate is included in your new puppy packet. It is recommended that additional vaccinations be given at 9, 12 and 16 weeks of age, with annual booster immunizations.

It is required by the Breeder that the Buyer take the puppy to a Veterinarian of his/her choice within five days from the date of delivery of the puppy. Failure to see Veterinarian within five days voids all health guarantees. If, within those five days, a veterinarian finds the puppy to be unhealthy, or possessing a serious genetic defect, a statement in writing must be provided to the Breeder by that veterinarian documenting said condition for Breeders’ veterinarian to review. Upon confirmation from Breeders’ vet of said condition, Buyer may return the puppy, registration and all of his/her effects to the Breeder and receive a full, immediate refund of the purchase price. Buyer is advised to keep all dated vet bill receipts as these will be needed to resolve any conflicts that may or may not arise. All transportation costs involved are the responsibility of the Buyer.

I reserve the right to acquire a second Veterinary exam on the returned puppy before replacement or refund is given. In the event of death due to genetic disorders/disease within 6 months of purchase, you must return the Micro Chip and death certificate, test preformed, lab results and determination of cause from the licensed Veterinarian in order to qualify for replacement or refund. This document must be signed by the Veterinarian and notarized, to be valid.

This puppy is guaranteed against hip dysphasia through the age of 12 months. If a puppy is thought to have a genetic defect, hip X-rays must be taken per OFA recommendations and submitted to The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Puppy must be micro-chipped and DNA’ed. Copies of OFA findings must be submitted to the seller/breeder. Defects must be proven to be genetic and not caused by environmental factors or mishandling by the buyer. This guarantee does not include degenerative joint disease which can be acquired. This warranty shall be null and void if the puppy or adult dog/bitch has not received routine veterinary care, has not been fed a nutritionally complete premium dog food designed specifically for Large Breed Dogs as its sole source of food, weighs an equivalent that exceeds 2.25 pounds for each week of age at any time during the warranty period, or has been the recipient of rough play by humans that includes pushing or pulling the limbs. To request a replacement puppy the buyer/s must submit a full photocopy of the veterinary record from the date of taking physical possession until diagnosis, any testing results, and any OFA evaluations to the breeder. The breeder reserves the right to review the findings and have the puppy or adult dog/bitch examined by a licensed veterinarian, at the breeder’s expense, of his choosing if he disputes the findings. The final decision whether to replace the puppy or adult dog/bitch shall be at the sole discretion of the breeder. The buyer/s agrees to sign any necessary registration ______________________ paperwork transferring sole ownership back to the breeder without delay. The signed paperwork shall be returned to the breeder within 10 days of the puppy/dog being shipped or delivered to the breeder. It shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer/s to pay for the return shipping charges and to pay for the shipping charges for the replacement puppy if applicable.

If a genetic defect is found the buyer must show proof that puppy is spayed or neutered and may obtain a replacement puppy, when available, from breeder at 50% off of the original selling price, or at the breeder's discretion, upon return of the above named dog/bitch, replace the dog/bitch with another dog/bitch. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs from seller/breeder on the replacement puppy.
• If the BUYER wishes to keep the dog/bitch (after identification of such a genetic defect), BUYER provides a certificate from their veterinarian stating that the dog/bitch has been spayed/neutered. The BREEDER will refund the amount of $____________ to the BUYER. Breeder will not pay for any surgical procedures.
