Genetic Warranty:
Your pet is guaranteed against any life-threatening genetic problems until the puppy is 12 months old. If a serious genetic problem is found, the seller will replace the pet with a healthy puppy of similar kind, if available. (The purchaser may keep the puppy and get a replacement as long as certain conditions, mentioned below, are addressed.) Your puppy is also guaranteed for a year against Parvo as long as the puppy continues to see a vet every 2-3 weeks until the age of 15-16 weeks old. (Presa Canarios hips guaranteed for 2 years)
Health Warranty:
You must take your pet to a veterinarian at the time when the puppies shots are next due. They need shots every 2.5-3.5 weeks until they are 4 months old. While at the vet, make sure to have the vet give your puppy a full examination each time.
If the pet is found unhealthy with a non-treatable, life-threatening illness, an exchange of another pet of equal value will be granted when available, only if the seller has been contacted within the 48 hours. (No cash refunds will be given). A letter from a veterinarian is required stating the problem found. The seller has the right to a second opinion from a veterinarian of her choice.
Hypoglycemia is a serious health condition common in tiny Chihuahua puppies, but is excluded from this warranty. This is generally caused by too much activity and/or too little nutrition . Those factors are within the buyers control once the puppy is sold.
The seller is not responsible for any medical bills, but may pay the bills instead of replacing the puppy if both parties agree.
Please note: If a genetic problem comes up, as long as the puppy is spayed/neutered and the medical issues are being addressed, the breeder will allow the owner of the puppy to keep the puppy and get a replacement puppy.
If the puppy was sold with full breeding rights and is not fit for breeding, the breeder will replace the puppy with one that is acceptable.
Any dog or puppy is always welcome back to the breeder, but no refunds will be given. The puppy or dog will be placed in a new home. If necessary, the dog will be trained by the breeder and spayed or neutered prior to placing in a new home. Under no circumstance will a returned adult dog be placed or sold prior to being neutered or spayed to prevent the dog from ending up in a puppy mill.
I have read and understand this warranty. I also understand that I am not allowed to sell this dog to a puppy mill and I am not a puppy mill owner. If I sell the puppy to someone else, I understand that the puppy could end up in a cage for the rest of his or her life if I do not spay/neuter first. I will check with the breeder to see if she can place the puppy prior to just selling the puppy to a low life breeding facility.
