In order for the provisions of this guarantee to be valid and in full force and effect, the puppy purchased and covered by this guarantee must be taken to a licensed veterinarian (of purchaser’s choice) of an exam and remainder puppy shots, as needed, with in two (2) business days from delivery. This guarantee is not transferable to other Owners. If pup has major problems during guarantee period, seller should be notified immediately and be included in decision making process pertaining to the medical care for the pup or guarantee is void. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills while pup is in buyer’s possession.
Carstens Chihuahua’s (Seller) Guarantees this puppy for thirty (30) days against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, and provirus as long as immunization is continued, as scheduled, by a licensed veterinarian. Seller will replace the puppy (with no additional monies due) with one of equal quality and value when one becomes available - time frame for replacement not to exceed one year.
Should this puppy die of hereditary or congenital defect within two (2) years from the date of birth or develop a debilitating defect that would prohibit the puppy from leading a normal pet life with in said one year (excluding patella luxation), Seller will either replace the puppy with no additional monies due or allow the purchase of a replacement puppy at half price depending upon the conditions involved (seller’s option).
In order for any of the above provisions to be enforceable, a written statement from the purchaser’s licensed veterinarian must be furnished to Seller as to the exact cause of death (including an autopsy report) or specific defect. In the event of a question regarding a defect, a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian of Seller’s choice will be the governing opinion.
