HEALTH GUARANTEE
The seller guarantees this dog to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. The purchaser agrees to take this dog to a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice within 48 hours for a physical examination. Should the dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the seller, the dog may , upon written diagnosis from said veterinarian, be returned for refund of the purchase price or for another dog of equal value, the choice to be determined by the seller. Any veterinarian’s diagnosis shall be subject to confirmation by a veterinarian chose and paid for by the seller. Should said veterinarian not concur with the diagnosis, the matter shall be presented to a third veterinarian mutually agreed upon by the seller and the purchaser.
WARRANTY
Limited One Year
The pug is sold with a 1 year limited warranty from the date of purchase is free of any diagnosed & confirmed congenital life threatening physical defects. Upon a diagnosis of a life threatening congenital defect the pup may be returned for a replacement pup when one comes available.
This does not apply to faults or defects, which were disclosed at the time of purchase. I reserve the right to have the animal examined by a vet of my choice at my expense to confirm the diagnosis.
The Breeder makes no guarantees or warranties on idiopathic (unknown cause) defects or abnormalities. The Breeder certifies that any known defect in the dog’s pedigree will be disclosed in writing to the Buyer prior to purchase of this puppy.
The breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian and pug care costs. If a medical condition arises the buyer is responsible for the care and expense of their pug.
All guarantees pertain to the original purchaser only.
You agree to provide regular veterinary care as well as the proper daily maintenance to keep the pug in good health.
You agree to inform me at once if problems develop and to follow all veterinary recommendations for their solution. If these things are not done, all guarantees are void.
Care and Well Being of the Pug/s
If at any time during the pugs life, neglect, abuse and/or poor living conditions arise that is deemed by health officers, SPCA officials, or any other official with the jurisdiction to deem the pug/s is living in poor circumstances as described above, the Pug will become the property of Mainelypugs and any/all Veterinarian and legal costs will be the responsibility of the undersigned “Buyer”.
General
If for any reason during a pets lifetime, an owner needs to find a new home for a pug we have sold them, we will assist or take the Pug back rather than see it placed in a shelter.
This contract sets forth the entire agreement between Breeder and Buyer and any
inconsistent oral terms have no effect on this contract.
