Liebsthal Kennel Guarantee concerning Health;
Hips; Parent’s where tested and found at least “good”
Offspring with a “unacceptable” Hip result, will be replaced after clearly stated by two unrelated Certifying Veterinarian ( two different offices) that the Hip result is based on a genetic defect.
(Excluding for example, accidents or failure of proper Nutrition supply)
Excluding anything other then a genetic defect produced by ancestors of this pup.
Thyroid; Parents where tested and found at least “good”
Offspring with a “unacceptable live threatening” Thyroid result, will be replaced, after clearly stated by two unrelated Certifying Veterinarian (two different offices) that the Thyroid test result is based on a genetic defect.
(Excluding for example accidents or failure to provide proper nutrition)
(Excluding anything other then a proven genetic defect produced by ancestors of this pup)
Heart; Parents where tested and found at least “good”
Offspring with a live threatening” heart result will be replaced after stated by two unrelated Certifying Veterinarian (two different offices) that the heart result is based on a genetic defect.
(Excluding for example, Heart murmurs, which are caused by unprofessional treatment following Virus or bacterial infections).
Excluding Heart problem’s caused by accident, malnutrition wrongly treatment of infection’s or by stress produced)
(Excluding anything other then a genetic defect produced by the ancestors of this pup).

Spondilose; Parents where tested and found at least “good”
Spondilose can be fed on and as such is not covered in the guarantee.
If by age 6 month is found a “life threatening” spondilose result, the pup will be replaced after stated by two unrelated Certifying Veterinarian (two different offices) that the spondilose result is based on a genetic defect produced by the ancestors of this pup.

Cancer; Parents are tested and found “free” of Cancer.
Cancer is a health issue that can occur any time and in every dog or Human. And as such it is not covered in the guarantee.
Does a pup develop a life threatening form of cancer before age 6 month’s it will be replaced, after stated by two unrelated Certifying Veterinarian (two different offices) that the cancer result is based on a genetic defect produced by the ancestors of this pup.
(Excluding again, failure supplying proper nutrition, accidents and wrongfully treatment of the pup)
(Excluding anything other then a genetic defect produced by the ancestors of this pup).
We at Liebsthal Kennel work with only the best breed quality animals and would not breed any defects knowingly. We work only with genetic proven linage to produce genetic defect free offspring.
That does not mean it could never happen, but it reduces the possibility of it happening.
As of now we have not produced any genetic defect listed specifically for this breed.
We do though go out of our way to keep puppies and its owners happy.
Duo to feed issues that can lead to the death of dogs, we prefer to feed national competition and puppy food. If it is not available close by, either order it or feed Wellness’ or Eagles Pack. Feeding a low quality or high calcium dog food can lead to spondilosis.
