LIMITED WARRANTY ON HEALTH
This warranty guarantees your puppy from any contagious disease for a period of 10 calendar days from purchase. To claim your refund you must bring a signed statement from your veterinarian describing the contagious disease the puppy has. You must also return the puppy and all paperwork to transfer ownership back to me must be completed. Should this puppy have succumbed to this disease, your statement from the veterinarian must state this.
You are encouraged to take your puppy to a veterinarian of your choice within 72 hours of purchase to ensure yourself of his/her health. If your puppy should be determined to have any condition that would make him/her unsuitable as a family companion, we will refund your money. To claim your refund you must bring a signed statement from your veterinarian describing the reason this puppy is considered unsuitable as a companion within 48 hours of your vet appointment. You must also return the puppy in good condition and all paper work to transfer ownership back to me must be completed.

Canine Hip Dysplasia
Your puppy's parents are free of the above hereditary disease.

Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) Information
The American Eskimo Dog is subject to late onset PRA. Generally if this condition is to present itself it occurs when the dog is between 3 and 5 years of age. Your Eskie’s sire and dam where examined by a board-certified ophthalmologist and were rated as having Normal eyes at the time of the examination. This examination occurred no more than one year prior to the breeding of this litter. Your puppy’s sire and dam have been OptiGen tested. This is a blood test to determine if a dog is Pattern A (will NOT develop PRA and will NOT pass the gene onto its progeny), Pattern B (this dog is called a “Carrier.” This dog will NOT develop PRA but can pass the gene onto its progeny; Pattern C (this dog is considered to be “Affected” and will develop PRA sometime during it’s lifetime and will pass the gene onto its progeny). Your puppy’s dam is Pattern A; its sire is Pattern B. This means that your puppy will not develop PRA, but if to be used in a breeding program should be tested to determine if s/he is Pattern A or Pattern B.
