PURE BRED BIEWER TERRIERS ARE FABULOUS COMPANION DOGS OUT OF THE TOY GROUP , THEY ARE GORGEOUS , VERY LOVING , VERY TRAINABLE (love to please) , HEALTHY , LIGHT HEARTED AND WHIMSICAL , ALMOST CHILD LIKE IN NATURE . MOST ARE CALM , VERY LAID BACK BUT WILL BARK TO CHALLENGE WOULD BE INTRUSIONS OF THEIR DOMAIN AND PROTECT "THEIR" OWNERS.THE AMERICAN VERSION OF THE ONCE GERMAN BREED IS MUCH MORE STABLE GENETICALLY DUE TO THE BIEWER TERRIER TO BIEWER TERRIER PAIRING OF THE BREED BY A GROUP IN THE USA

In the year 1984 a tri-colored puppy was born in Germany , whelped by a Yorkshire Terrier which was bred to a Yorkshire terrier owned by Werner and Gertrude Biewer. Since then we have taken the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la pom pon to a new level by logically breeding them Biewer to Biewer to keep the genetics pure in this country. By requiring both males and females to be DNA tested we can be sure this breed is maintained in the highest standard possibly to protect their beauty and characters.
