Spay/Neuter Contract
The following agreement is between Frank & Debra Pross (breeder);
Hereafter referred to as "Seller", and _________________________________,
Hereafter referred to as "Purchaser", residing at __________________________________________________, Phone number_____________.
In consideration of a purchase price of ______________________dollars. The Seller transfers all rights in fee simple determinable, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the puppy/dog of the Australian Shepherd breed to Purchaser as of the date and time specified below with the following conditions subsequent:

Purchaser shall have the dog examined by their veterinarian within 72 hours, If a health issue is found, Sellers shall be called by the owner and the veterinarian. Seller will take the puppy/dog back, treat it, and return it in a well condition, or return their money and keep the puppy.
Purchaser agrees to neuter/spay the puppy/dog. Purchaser agrees to supply Seller with a veterinarian's letter by mail as proof of a neuter/spay. Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that this puppy will be registered by limited registration. In the event that the Purchaser does not have the puppy properly neutered/spayed, any offspring issuing from this pet-quality puppy/dog are not eligible for registration with the AKC, ASCA, CKC, or UKC. Buyer has been made aware that if they provide the seller with spay/neuter information more than 1 year after the litter is registered with the AKC, that the AKC may charge additional registration fee's to buyer or refuse to register dog. Seller has no control of determinations or fees charged by the AKC.

Purchaser agrees this dog will be provided for as a member of the family. Further agrees to provide love, attention, exercise and quality food, while providing the appropriate immunizations and regular veterinarian checkups.
When to spay/neuter: There has been much discussion on the correct time in a puppy or young adult to spay/neuter. Generally, this should be a discussion between you and your veterinarian. Why spay/neuter: Fixing your dog prevents pregnancy and the birth of unwanted puppies. It avoids the need to restrain the dog during estrus. It keeps both sexes from roaming away from your house in search of a mate. It reduces the tendency of male dogs to urinate in the house, marking his territory. Licensing fees are also cheaper. Additionally, it avoids reproductive-related problems.
Should for any reason the purchaser cannot keep the puppy/dog, the animal must be returned to the seller, for future placement of the puppy/dog, the seller shall not return any monies in this situation, unless it is within the 72 hours of purchase.
We the undersigned have read understood and agree with the terms of this contract.
