1. This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to the best of my knowledge. The puppy has been Vet checked, vaccinated and de-wormed in accordance with veterinarian recommendations for puppy of this age.
2. This puppy is guaranteed to the original purchaser for five years against life-threatening genetic or hereditary diseases or defects. If the puppy is found to have a serious hereditary disease or defect, the puppy may be returned to Cream Ridge Dachshunds for a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available and appropriate litter. If this occurs, purchaser must provide written documentation from a licensed veterinarian regarding the nature of the genetic defect within fourteen days of diagnosis. Cream Ridge Dachshunds reserves the right to verify the diagnosis through a licensed veterinarian of their choice.
3. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt.
4. The purchase price for the puppy is $750.00. Upon receipt of purchase price, seller will furnish to buyer the AKC registration papers, with delivery of the puppy to be arranged between buyer and seller.
5. If for any reason buyer is unable to keep the puppy, buyer agrees never to place the puppy with a rescue organization shelter, pet store, pound or any similar organization. Puppy may be returned to the breeder for placement at any time, but no refunds or exchanges (except as noted in #2 above) will be offered.
6. This puppy is being purchased with Full AKC registration, with option to breed and show available to the buyer. If breeding occurs, seller agrees to consult with buyer to provide assistance with the breeding and whelping process at no expense to buyer.
7. Seller assures buyer that the adult weight of the intact parents is 10 pounds (sire) and 10.5/11pounds (dam). Adult size of the puppy is not guaranteed, and individual weights may vary and potentially increase after neutering/spaying. Nutritional practices of the buyer may also impact adult weight and size.
8. Breeder assumes no responsibility for the puppy after it leaves except for the first 48 hours for issues pertaining to health issues only.
9. Puppy should not be in public places until buyer’s veterinarian has completed all vaccinations. Care should be taken when exposing puppy to people and other dogs until this point, as puppy have not developed proper immune systems to ward off viruses and infections. Cause of illness/death related to these issues is not the responsibility of the breeder.
10. Cream Ridge Dachshunds from the date of sale is not held responsible for any lawsuits associated with these animals that may arise.
11. Any disputes or legal actions pertaining to this contract and/or transaction shall occur in Schuyler County Courthouse, Rushville, Illinois.
I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I AM ENTERING INTO A BINDING AGREEMENT, AND MY SIGNATURE INDICATES THAT I HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS OF THIS TRANSACTION.
