Have you or a family member ever been owned by a dachshund?
If you have never been owned by a dachshund have you researched the breed to see if they would be a good fit for you or your family?
Yes      No
Do you live in an area or home where your new family member would have ample amount of supervised exercise on a daily basis?
Do you have small children that are under the age of 5? If so, dachshunds can become snippy with young children who may pull their ears or tail. This is their only defense. We would not wish to see one of our babies go to a shelter because they were abused or harassed by a small child that was unsupervised around the new baby.
Will your new baby be an inside pet that receives plenty of TLC and optimum nutrition for his/her happiness and health?

Are you currently established with a Vet in order for your new baby to receive the proper care and vaccinations he/she may require?
Do you promise not to send your new baby to a shelter or rescue but to give Mtn View Dachshunds first option to take back the puppy/dog at no cost to us so that we may find him/her a new home if you cannot properly maintain his/her care any longer?
Can you assure us that you will have your new baby spayed/neutered before the age of 1?
