Hearts of Gold Retrievers is committed to a breeding program that concentrates on health, temperament and characteristics consistent with the AKC Golden Retriever Breed Standard.
We specialize in raising top quality Golden Retrievers. We produce beautifully structured dogs that have a calm and intelligent temperament and a strong, genetically sound background. Parents have cleared their genetic health tests: Hips, elbows and heart,(OFA), and eyes (CERF). Testing gives your new baby a firm , healthy, genetic foundation to grow from. It also amounts to much fewer vet bills. Their pedigrees are outstanding. Our puppies, being raised in our home, are well socialized and have recieved early neurological stimulation. They have their first Vet check and dew claws remover at 3-5 days old, are wormed preventatively every two weeks and receive their 6 week health check and vaccination before leaving for their new homes. Also, they are well started on their potty training prior to leaving here and have been introduced to a crate.
They have potential to succeed in the conformation ring, obedience, agility, therapy, K-9 rescue, hunters in the field, and most importantly as being a beloved friend and family member who just wants to curl up in your lap and give love.
