The new owner contract shown is a sample posted by this member as a representative of the agreement you would enter into prior to obtaining a puppy/dog from this breeder. Tarlyn Miniature Dachshunds does have a three page contract outlining specific information on your new puppy. Some points of particular interest:

Our pet puppies are AKC registered with limited registration (not for breeding). Registration papers shall be turned over to new owner after breeder receives certificate of the spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian stating the said dog has been altered.


The breeder also retains the right of getting said dog back, regardless of age, in the event the new owner can no longer care for the dog. And this is if the dog is 2 years old or 10 years old!
