Sales Agreement
This signed agreement is to act as a sales receipt and spay/neuter contract. It is to prove that you, the BUYER, has paid for said puppy described on this receipt. Permanent ownership of this puppy is contingent upon your compliance with this agreement. Your puppy is being sold to you as a pet/companion, not as a breeding dog. It is your responsibility to have your puppy/dog spayed/neutered. This puppy is being sold with AKC limited registration. This means NO BREEDING RIGHTS are given. Your AKC registration application will not be given to you until written veterinary proof is sent to the above seller’s address that the above stated Siberian Husky has been altered. Proof of the spay/neuter surgery must be received by the BUYER and sent by mail or scanned and emailed to K & M Kennels within fourteen (14) days after the surgery. Most puppies can be spayed/neuter at 4 months old, or after receiving all 3 vaccinations to complete series. In the event that the dog's health does not allow this agreement to be honored, K & M Kennels must be provided with a statement from your veterinarian that this puppy is not yet in physical or emotional condition for surgery. Based upon the veterinarian's evaluation of this puppy the buyer (YOU) will contact the veterinarian and establish the earliest date that the procedure can be performed. The BUYER will notify the BREEDER (K & M Kennels) of this amendment in writing (10808 Red Rd Kaplan, La 70548) at which time all other conditions of this agreement will apply and be enforced. It is the responsibility of the BUYER, not the veterinarian, to ensure that
K & M Kennels has received verification that the surgery has been performed. Failure to comply with this agreement by the date below, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, will be considered a breach of the contract, and BUYER will pay to transport this dog back to K & M Kennels and will not be entitled to any refund. Buyer must send veterinarian's proof of spay/neuter or invoice bill with the veterinarian's state license number and his/her signature for verification to K & M Kennels, as soon as the surgery has been completed and must be before the date listed below.
By my signature below, I agree to have this puppy spayed/neutered by no later than 6 months, or 24 weeks on_____/______/_____, and I understand that this spay/neuter agreement is an agreement that this puppy will not produce a litter of puppies either as purposely bred or by accidental breeding. Accidental breeding is considered neglect and the puppy/dog will be returned to the breeder and all puppies born from any breeding, accidental or otherwise, will become the property of K & M Kennels at no cost to the owners of K & M Kennels. You also agree that should puppy not be spayed/neutered by the above stated date, that BUYER will return said puppy back to K & M Kennels with no refund of purchase price or deposits, or that K & M Kennels has the right to seize said puppy back from the buyer.

Should you breed the above stated Siberian Husky whether male or female, you agree to pay
K & M Kennels $3000 in damages as well as attorney fees and court costs for breeding when NO BREEDING RIGHTS were given. In this case, if a litter is born, all puppies will revert to
K & M Kennel’s care. If the above stated Siberian Husky should ever sire a litter, the above said buyer agrees that they are responsible in paying K & M Kennels for all expenses in retrieval of the puppies that have been littered.
If the conditions of this contract are not adhered to, the BREEDER has the right, and the BUYER agrees fully, to the repossession of the above stated Siberian Husky with the AKC papers at any time, at no cost to the breeder, K & M Kennels. It is understood that these conditions are set forth for the welfare and protection of the puppy, buyer, and seller involved. Failure on the part of the buyer to comply with this contract will render the buyer liable to the breeder for the cost thereof including but not limited to: attorney fees and expenses, liquidation damages/damages to the breeder’s name and reputation, time, trouble, and mental duress.
BUYER is required to give, or have a licensed veterinarian, administer the remaining puppy vaccines in series to said puppy, parvo and distemper vaccines must be given on dates of health record, following first vaccines provided by BREEDER. Each puppy has been given first dose of Heartworm Preventative (Ivermectin) which is needed to be continued monthly, (regardless if your puppy is inside or outside). Each puppy is also given age appropriate vaccines before leaving K & M Kennels, Combination Vaccine (5-way booster*without leptospirosis) at 6 weeks of age. Your puppy has been dewormed (Nemex 2) at 2, 3, 4, and 6 weeks.
Health records are provided to BUYER at time of pick-up. If BUYER fails to continue vaccines as stated above, the parties agree that any health guarantee will be considered null and void. Keep shot records from your vet, or receipts from purchase of shots.

We require that your puppy is not exposed to other animals, other people, walked in public parks, or rest areas until it has had all of its vaccines. *Buyer's Initial's:________
D. If the BUYER is ever charged or convicted of animal abuse or cruelty by an state, local, federal agency, or the AKC, or is convicted of violating any AKC rule or regulation, the buyer forfeits all rights to this Siberian Husky and will immediately remand custody of this Siberian Husky to the BREEDER along with the AKC papers at no cost to the breeder. If the breeder gets word or feels the puppy/dog is not being cared for properly, the breeder has the right to go and check on the above stated puppy. If the breeder feels the accusations are true (the puppy/dog is not being properly cared for), upon seeing the above stated Siberian Husky, the husky will be immediately remanded custody to the breeder at no cost to the breeder.
E. Under no circumstances is this puppy ever to be sold, leased, or given away to a pet store, laboratory, research facility, or animal shelter. K & M Kennels does not want their pups in rescue of any kind. If you can no longer keep the above stated puppy, the breeder must be the first to know.
F. Refunds/Returns: If for any reason, the buyer is no longer able to care for the puppy; before or after he/she has been spayed/neutered, we will be glad to take it back (if we have room) at no charge or help you place in a permanent home. There will be no refund.( K & M Kennels ALWAYS gets first right of buy back before puppy is 6 months. And we would also like to be notified after 6 months if you are rehoming the dog.) Any money placed on a puppy is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason, unless otherwise stated, in this contract.
G. Changing your puppy’s food may cause your puppy to get upset stomach and loose stool. This can lead to dehydration and illness for your puppy. Please make sure to mix the new food with your puppy’s regular food and ease it into the new, to lessen the chance of any of this. Your puppy has been eating Iams Puppy 1-12 month.
This agreement sets forth the entire agreement between parties. This agreement may not be changed, altered or amended except in a writing signed by both parties.
I, the undersigned buyer have read, understand and agree with all of the terms and conditions set forth in this sales contract and spay/neuter agreement with K & M Kennels.
