This agreement, made this ____ day of ___________ 20___, by and between Fox Den Boxers (Breeder) and ____________________________ (Purchaser) regarding the sale of the following Boxer puppy/dog:

Fox Den Boxers has made every effort to provide you with a healthy puppy. This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of delivery. We guarantee this puppy is registerable with the AKC. We guarantee that all vaccinations and wormings have been given as stated on the vaccination schedule. If the puppy is due for vaccinations, and the Buyer fails to provide vaccinations on that day, this guarantee is null and void if the puppy contracts diseases that would be otherwise prevented by those vaccinations.
For the protection of the purchaser and the seller, the puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession of this puppy. If the sales transaction takes place on Friday and Monday is a holiday, the buyer will be given an extra 24 hours to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary congenital defect or any major health problem at this exam, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given, provided that the seller is notified within 24 hours after the exam. If the Buyer does not take the puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours from the date of purchase, this warranty becomes null and void. This puppy must be returned to the Breeder along with the AKC registration papers within 24 hours, at no expense to the breeder, with a signed document from two non associated licensed Veterinarians stating the defect or problem. We, the breeder, are not responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by you, the buyer.
Your puppy is guaranteed for one year from the date of birth against life threatening congenital defects. If within that time a life threatening congenital defect is attested by two non-associated veterinarians and agreed to by our veterinarian and the reason is congenital, the Breeder will replace the puppy. The replacement will be subject to availability (within 12 months). We do not refund money. We are not responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by you, the buyer. We must be notified 24 hours after the exam and the puppy must be returned. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, Class I or II murmur, inguinal or umbilical hernias.
We guarantee that the puppy will be free of Distemper, Parainfluenza, Cornano Virus, and Parvo for a period of 48 hours after receipt of the puppy by the Buyer.
If the puppy dies within one year of birth, buyer must have an autopsy performed by a licensed Veterinarian at buyer's expense to determine cause of death, if cause is unknown. If cause of death is due to a congenital defect, a replacement puppy will be given (within 12 months).
There are certain disorders that my be caused by environmental factors: immunity level, mites, pneumonia, demodectic mange, heatstroke, ringworm, intestinal worms/parasites, conjunctivitis, fleas, ticks, ear infections, cocidia, giardia, kennel cough, cancer, scabies, allergies, thyroid dysfunction and are not covered by this guarantee. This list is not all inclusive.
The seller will provide a vaccination and de-worming record of your puppy. Please take these records to your veterinarian, as you must continue with these vaccinations and wormings after you get your puppy home.
The buyer agrees to provide vet exams, including heartworm checks and preventatives, and to do all vaccinations. The Buyer further warrants that the puppy will be kept in appropriate conditions for its health and welfare. Puppy will be fed a suitable diet for its age and condition. Puppy will receive all veterinary care to maintain its good health.
If puppy is shipped: the seller will arrange air shipment for the said puppy, however, the Buyer will pay the cost of any and all arrangements and expenses for commercial shipment of the said puppy. The Seller shall not be responsible for the safety of the puppy while in transit to the Buyer's place of residence, to include any and all incurred injuries as a result of transportation accidents.
This contract is valid for the original buyer that purchased the dog from "Fox Den Boxers" Breeder. If the dog is transferred to another owner this contract is null and void. This contract is null and void if any of the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
The Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implies, under this contract except as stated above.
This guarantee must be signed and returned to me, Kara Comer, at date of purchase (if purchased in person) or within one week of date of purchase (if puppy/dog delivered by air) or it becomes null and void. By signature below, Buyer acknowledges receipt of a copy of this agreement, information package, including feeding information and vaccine schedule.

If for any reason this puppy does not work out for you, or if your life changes such that you are unable to provide this puppy with a happy home, please call us for assistance in finding him/her a good home (434-575-5714).
