We do not always require a contract. We provide them for those who want them. All contracts can be modified to fit the agreement made between the two parties. This is a rough version of our contract.

Conditions of Sale of Pet Puppy
Seller Agrees:
1. To sell to buyer the following Tibetan Terrier Puppy under the conditions stated below:

Hereinafter referred to as "the puppy"
2. The Seller agrees to provide the puppy’s pedigree, health records and instructions for care.
3. The Seller will forward the original AKC individual registration form upon the completion of the following conditions by the buyer:
A. After the check received for payment of the puppy has cleared the bank.
B. After the receipt of proof of spaying/neutering if this is required by the seller. Circle one: YES spaying/neutering required NO spaying/neutering is not required.
4. The Seller agrees that at the time of transfer, the puppy is in good health with no known medical problems. Our goal is to sell ONLY healthy & happy puppies.
Buyer Agrees:
1. The Buyer agrees to Pay SELLER the sum of $___________________
2. The Buyer agrees that the sum above includes the AKC Registration papers as part of the price.
3. The Buyer agrees that the sum above DOES NOT ... Include Breeding Rights to be sold with the dog.
4. The Buyer agrees to have puppy checked by veterinarian within 7 days of purchase and should puppy by deemed to be unhealthy to forward proof to the breeder at which time steps may be taken to rectify if possible or a refund will be provided when puppy is returned.
5. The Buyer agrees to provide the puppy with a good home environment (as opposed to a kennel) and to make every effort to keep the puppy in good health and condition.
6. The Buyer agrees to provide adequate medical attention to puppy when needed by licensed veterinarian. This shall include providing immunizations against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, coronavirus, and parvovirus. This shall further include keeping the puppy free from flea's or other parasites.
7. The Buyer agrees to spay/neuter the puppy before the puppies first birthday and to forward proof of spaying/neutering to Seller. If spaying or neutering is part of this agreement.
8. The Buyer agrees to never tie or chain dog outdoors, but rather to provide either a fenced yard for dog or to walk dog on a leash.
9. The Buyer agrees that the puppy purchased herein must bear the kennel name CESPA as the first name in it's AKC registered name.
10. The Buyer agrees to contact the breeder should you decide not to keep the puppy.
Buyer and Seller agree:
This contract may be modified at anytime with the agreement of all parties thereto, but such modifications must be in writing.
Any disputes relating to this contract shall be governed by the laws of the state of Oregon and all parties agree that this contract has been made in the state of Oregon for the purposes of determining jurisdiction should any litigation result from this contract.

DEPOSIT ON FUTURE LITTER
The following applies if making a DEPOSIT on a puppy not yet ready for placement.
* Puppy selection is done at 6 weeks old ( when we know temperaments ) and at that time goes by date of deposit; first deposit getting first choice of available puppies, second deposit getting second choice of available puppies etc.
We only guarantee a puppy from a certain litter and it's gender. No refund is given for colors or markings not being satisfactory although breeder agrees to do everything possible to ensure you get a puppy as close to what you requested as possible.
If there isn't a puppy in the litter you want after putting in a deposit you are given the option of moving your deposit to the next litter. Breeder has the right to choose a puppy first if keeping one.
