Acorn Goldens are wonderful family dogs that have gorgeous coats, lovable brown eyes and sweat dispositions. Golden Retrievers have enriched many hearts and homes with their tail wagging, people pleasing presence! We are a small family breeder and our puppies are raised in our home, so they are very “people oriented” making them easy to train and great overall family companions. Our girls enjoy the competition of the show ring (conformation and obedience) and also Therapy work with the young and old. River Run Royal Acorn (Allyson) has her Rally Novice, CD Companion Dog and CGC titles. She is an R.E.A.D.(Read Assistance Education Dogs) Therapy dog sharing her time with children at the schools and libraries. Allyson is passionate about her job! River Run Acorn’s KnockOut (Ashley Ann) has her Certificate of Conformation, Rally Novice, CGC and is in training for her WC (working Certificate). She loves to please and retrieve anything. She also is a registered Delta Therapy dog. So you can see the girls are very versatile. Both females have their hips, elbows, heart (OFA) and Cerf clearances. Our goal is to improve the breed with quality and healthy companions. All puppies are placed on limited registration with spay/neuter contracts.
