All dogs used in our breeding program have been BAER hearing tested, had their Hips, Patellas, Cardiac and thyroids evaluation through OFA. Each dog has had a yearly bloodwork panel performed that tests the Liver and Kidneys' functions. They also have their eyes CERF'ed yearly. All tests can be verified on the Orthopedic Foundation of Animal's website or copies can be viewed at puppy pick-ups. If a breeder say's they test, but don't register the tests, be cautious. If a breeder say's they don't believe in health testing, walk away.... why would you want to breed with something that is known to be a carrier of a disease or health problem. If there is a way to know who has what, why would you not want to know? only a couple of reasons I could think of..... money?
