It is agreed between Seller and Buyer as follows:
1. DESCRIPTION OF DOG
The dog sold pursuant to the terms of this agreement is as follows:
• Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback
• Sex: _______________
• Whelped: March 6th, 2007

2. SELLER'S REPRESENTATIONS
The following representations and conditions apply to the sale of the aforementioned dog:
a) As of the date of this agreement, the dog is in good health and free of communicable diseases.
b) The Buyer has 48 hours to have dog examined by a veterinarian and to personally inspect the dog for the purpose of finding defects or problem conditions not reviewed when the puppy was purchased that would inhibit puppy being a sound pet. If owners/sellers are holding or boarding the puppy for buyer, the buyers must still take dog for examination within 48 hours of signing this agreement/contract. Any claims or problems with this puppy not reviewed at time of purchase must be made within 48 hours of signing this agreement/contract. In the unlikely event that a defect or problem condition is found in the puppy, seller will replace the puppy or refund the buyers money at the seller’s discretion. Sellers’ own veterinarian will verify any defects/conditions before a replacement/refund will be issued or any refund will be given.
c) The Buyer, by signing this contract is stating that they are completely satisfied with the dog’s conformation and outward appearance and is hereby waiving any and all claims regarding conformation and appearance.
3. CONSIDERATION (circle either A or B)
A) This dog, identified in Section 1, is being sold for the sum of $_____________, to be paid in full on __________________.
B) This dog, identified in Section 1, is being sold for the sum of $_____________. $_____________ paid on ______________as a non-refundable deposit, the remainder to be paid when the dog is picked up. Dog or bitch will be shipped to Buyer when paid in full at Buyer's expense. All other arrangements must be made in advance and in writing signed by both Buyer and Seller.
4. STIPULATIONS: For contractual reasons all dogs sold from Crimson Pride Ridgebacks are sold as PET quality. Any conditions that would limit the puppy from being something other than a pet quality dog are not the responsibility of the breeder/seller. Those conditions must also be diagnosed within 72 hours of purchasing the dog. We guarantee that the dog you are buying is leaving as a healthy pet quality dog. This puppy has been examined by a Veterinarian and has received all worming and the prescribed shots.
5. COLD FEET UNDERSTANDING: CHANGE OF MIND: Should the buyer take the puppy home and then change their mind and want to return the puppy - regardless of the reason, all payments/deposits for puppy are forfeited to the seller and will not be refunded even though puppy has been returned.
PUPPY BEING HELD FOR BUYER: If a deposit or down-payment or payment in full is made on a puppy and the buyer ask’s the seller to hold the puppy, and latter the buyer changes their mind about purchasing the puppy being held, all money paid for puppy is forfeited and will not be refunded.
6. LIMITATIONS OF CONTRACT: This contract applies to the original puppy only and is non-transferable to a second party. No replacement puppy will be given if the male or female has been bred, neutered or spayed. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs to and from seller on original and replacement puppy.
No replacement puppy will be given under any circumstances if the puppy is ever vaccinated by anyone other than a licensed veterinarian.
Buyer further agrees to provide a proper diet of top-quality dog food and supplements. The dog is being fed either “Iams puppy food or Science Diet puppy food”. We recommend that you leave this dog on this food for as long as possible. Cheap dog food will cause puppy not to develop right and may lead to nutritional defects, which we will not be responsible for.
6. MAINTENANCE: Buyer agrees to maintain this dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites, and - where indicated - heartworm preventative medication.
Buyer agrees to provide Seller with Photographs suitable for advertising and photocopies of all awards and critiques along with the judge(s) name(s) and the Club sponsoring the show. Buyer also agrees that Seller may use the photographs and any particulars of qualifying awards in any future advertising.
And finally...Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Alabama.
