Seller offers a 1 year guarantee until first birthday for Hereditary diseases. A dog with clinical signs of the disease will be eligible for replacement according to the terms of this contract. This guarantee applies only to a dog that is diagnosed with MVD, by a qualified board certified cardiologist veterinarian, that has caused a debilitating effect on the dog until its first birthday. The diagnosis must be determined by x-ray and ultrasound , taken and evaluated by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist. If the pup is sold out of state, the licensed cardiologist’s diagnosis must be made and submitted to Seller, along with x-rays and ultrasound to be evaluated by Seller’s veterinary cardiologist. The licensed veterinarian’s diagnosis must be made and submitted in writing along with x-ray and ultrasound to the Seller by the attending veterinarian, within 48 hours of the initial diagnosis. If sold locally, the pup in question will be evaluated as above. Seller reserves the right to obtain a second opinion. Should buyer fail to obtain a written diagnosis within 48 hours, and fail to forward the diagnosis to Seller, all guarantees will be null and void and no further guarantees will be offered. Should the first and second opinions be conclusive of hereditary MVD as stated above, and all the terms and conditions of this contract have been met, then the affected dog must be returned to Seller, along with all records and registrations if purchased. All veterinary and travel expenses are the responsibility of Buyer. Seller will not guarantee said puppy if there is evidence of any accidents, malnutrition, lack of (or improper)exercise, abuse or other conditions, ailments, or preventable diseases. This guarantee does not include: size, breeding ability, retained testicles, personality/temperament, conditions which could have been prevented by proper and complete vaccinations, kennel cough, heart worm, all hernias, seizures,parasites or protozoan conditions treatable and common to puppies.
