Quality SMOOTH STANDARD dachshunds from long established bloodline well known for over 60 years for gorgeous breed type, elegance, correct movement, top conformation, and proper temperament. I breed to keep a promising puppy to show and continue the bloodline, but not every puppy in a well-planned show litter necessarily turns out to be a true show prospect. A pet from a litter like this gets the benefit of years of planning and all of the care and attention given to show prospects. My puppies are well socialized with children and part of the family. I only have true smooth standard dachshunds, which are between 18-32 pounds, not minis. I don't breed smooths to longs, breed oversized minis and call them "small standards," or anything like that...this is a well planned breeding program of true SMOOTH STANDARD dachshunds ONLY. Please inquire only if you are looking for a well bred smooth standard dachshund puppy from a responsible breeder and can provide information about your home environment. I DO NOT ship puppies to people I have never met, so be prepared to come to Southern California for a well bred member of your family. I am happy to send photos and information to serious people who have researched the breed or who have successfully owned dachshunds in the past. Right now, I am evaluating a litter of both red and black/tan smooth standard dachshund puppies. Both parents are AKC champions and excellent representatives of the breed. I am interviewing potential pet homes for a beautiful dark red girl, sold on a spay/neuter contract only. Her father is a 30 pound champion, and she looks a lot like him. She will almost certainly be a very large standard. See her photo below...

Well bred SMOOTH STANDARD dachshunds from responsible breeder active in specialty & all breed dog clubs. I breed to keep a show puppy to continue this bloodline, but it is rare that all puppies turn out to be true show prospects. I'm realistic and very picky about what I keep to show, so I am interviewing pet homes right now for a gorgeous litter of red and black/tan STANDARD SMOOTH dachshund puppies. Both parents are AKC champions. Mother is 23 pounds and was shown at 2006 Eukanuba Invitational. Father is 30 pounds. Pets sold on spay/neuter contracts ONLY. Puppies are well socialized and vet checked. I'm not a kennel, and I DO NOT ship.
