The puppy is guaranteed to be healthy at the time of purchase. The puppy will also be current on vaccinations and deworming at time of purchase. A separate health record will be provided at the time the puppy is picked up or delivered. Our puppies leave our home with a 5 way vaccination given at 5, 7, and 9 weeks of age. It is the responsibility of the buyer to continue vaccinations and dewormings after the puppy is picked up or delivered.
SEVEN DAY GUARANTEE: The buyer has 7 days from date of purchase to have puppy checked by a certified vet. PLEASE DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR NEW PUPPY TO STRANGE DOGS UNTIL YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PUPPY VET CHECKED! THIS CAN PUT YOUR PUPPY AT RISK. Seller guarantees the puppy for seven days from the date of purchase against distemper, corona virus, parvovirus, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, bordatella (kennel cough) and hepatitis. If your puppy is found to have contracted any of these within the seven day warranty period, buyer must contact seller immediately. If the puppy should die from one of these illnesses within the seven day period, the puppy must be autopsied by a certified veterinarian, and a written veterinary statement must be obtained. Seller must then be contacted within 24 hours. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide seller with a NOTARIZED copy of the autopsy report with the cause of death. A replacement puppy of the same breed and sex will be provided from the next available litter, if the puppy is found to have died due to one of the above illnesses. The replacement will be up to the discretion of the breeder (breeder’s choice) but will be as close a match as possible.
HEREDITARY OR CONGENITAL DEFECTS: Seller guarantees for one year against hereditary or congenital disorders that may interfere with the puppy’s ability to lead a normal life. Conditions are listed and limited to HEART, KIDNEY, LIVER AND HIP DYSPLASIA ONLY. No other condition is covered in this contract. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e.: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee. Seller will replace the puppy under the same conditions as stated above, providing a notarized veterinarian statement is submitted to seller within 10 days from the date of the diagnosis as to the nature of the problem.
***NOTE: Buyer will continue to give puppy 1/2 wafer of the NuVet Plus each day until puppy weighs 5 pounds, and 1 full NuVet Plus wafer every day after 5 pounds, for the entire one year of this Health Guarantee. While it is not a requirement for this guarantee, it is highly recommended. It could mean the difference in just a decent life or a wonderful and healthy long life for your new puppy.

We feel that this is something that should be done for your new pet as we cannot control the dog food you are feeding (we recommend Purina One or Eukanuba), environmental issues, and the differences within the household and yard. It is hereby understood by both the buyer and the seller of the puppies that the buyer is responsible for all veterinary costs of every kind and nature after the puppy has been picked up or delivered, including vaccinations. For all purposes given in these guarantees, the breeder has full say in determining if a refund will be given. No other guarantees are made or implied by seller except those stated in this guarantee, and all guarantees are strictly on a replacement basis.
This agreement is binding upon parties hereto, their heirs, successors and assigns, and shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the state of Arkansas. Any legal actions or disputes will be resolved in the county of the seller.
