At Ziemabora, it is of the utmost importance to us that we correctly match our puppies/dogs to the right human family to ensure a long and harmonous relationship. Where would the dog primarily reside? (example: in the house with the family, outdoors in a covered kennel, in the garage or basement, etc.)

On an average day, how many hours would the dog be left home alone and where would the dog stay during that time?

Who would care for the dog when you go on vacation, out of town for your job or become sick and can't take care of the dog yourself?

Have you ever owned a dog before? If yes, please tell us a little bit about your past dog(s)- like breed(s) owned, your involvement with them (show, breeding, obedience, sledding, etc.), if they were spayed/neutered and what happened to them if you no longer have them.

Do you currently own any other pets or plan to get any other pets after adopting a dog?

Do you understand that this breed can NEVER be trusted off-lead (no matter how much land you may own!)and must be in a fenced-in yard or on a leash at all times?

Are you familiar with the amount of exercise this breed requires and are you willing to make the commitment to provide it?

Are you willing to make a 12-15 year commitment to love and care for a dog for his/her entire lifetime?

We sell all puppies/dogs under a legally binding contract whether they are show or pet dogs. We do this to protect the well-being of our dogs. Are you willing to sign a purchase contract? If no, please explain why not.

We require that all puppies placed in pet homes be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age. Would you agree to this requirement and if not, please explain why not.

We require that our puppies/dogs receive regular veterinary preventative care such as vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, and parasite control (fleas & ticks as well as internal parasite control). We also require that our puppies/dogs be fed a high-quality premium dog food and be kept in a healthy weight and body condition. Do you agree to these things? If not, please explain.
