Instructions for the care of your new puppy.

All buyers are required to read/agree to the following-

1. Your new puppy can not guard your goats or sheep. He or she is just a puppy and will get eaten by predators. Protect your puppy until he or she is old enough to be a working dog at one year of age.
2. Do not let your little puppy climb stairs or do anything else you would not think to let a baby do. He is not fully developed and the joints can be easily damaged.
3. Puppies like babies will put things in their mouth that do not belong there. Keep electrical cords, toxic materials and anything else dangerous that can go into their mouth away from them.
4. It is a good idea to confine your puppy when you can't look after him or her. Like all babies they get in trouble easily.
5.The more love and attention you give your puppy the better a dog he or she will become.Guardian Great Pyrenees contrary to what you may believe should be socialized. You don't want he or she to be fearful and untrusting of your friends and family or for that matter your veterinarian!
6. Teach your puppy to walk on a leash. When he or she is close to 100 lbs you will not wish to carry him or her into the veterinarian's office should it be necessary to go there.
7. Feed your new puppy a high quality puppy food 'free choice' if possible. Puppies fed free choice seldom over eat as adult dogs and will not be food aggressive.
8. Be sure your puppy has clean fresh water at all times.
9. Start grooming your puppy early paying careful attention to the tail and and back legs. This is the area most likely to get matted when they develop their adult coat.
10. Enjoy your puppy!
