A deposit of $300.00 is hereby made and the cash balance is due to Seller before this dog is placed in the Buyer’s possession. Registration papers will also be held until balance is paid in full. The Buyer understands that once a deposit is made, it is a commitment to buy said dog and is therefore NON-REFUNDABLE. Buyer will forfeit deposit and said dog may then be re-sold if not paid in full by specified date being_________________________
IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY BOTH PARTIES THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL BE MET AND THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
BUYER certifies that he/she is not acting as an agent for another individual in the purchase of this dog, and will not sell this dog to any mass-producing kennel (puppy mill) or business.
The purchaser promises to keep the dog in a proper manner. It shall not be kept permanently in a kennel. If it should be necessary for the dog to change hands, the Breeder has prior purchase rights for a period limited to two weeks. Selling to a third party is permissible only after prior consultation with the Breeder, whereby the main consideration is the assurance that the dog is passed to responsible owners. This puppy has been bred by us and has been carefully and painstakingly reared. The parent animals where mated with aim of breeding good and healthy puppies. Seller guarantees this dog to be free of communicable diseases as appears to the eye at the time of sale.
At the expense of the BUYER, this dog should be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of possession to validate Health Guarantee.(If purchased on a Saturday, this requirement is extended through the following Monday.) Should this dog be found in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Breeder, this dog may, upon written diagnosis from a veterinarian, be returned to Seller for refund of purchase price or for another dog of equal value, the choice to be determined by Seller.
No other warranties are expressed or implied unless explained by Seller below:
In the case of puppy being sold as pet, the new owner will provide proof of spay/neuter by the age of eight months. Where then the Seller will turn over registration to new owner.
Buyer releases Seller, Antje Kromberg, Road’s End Farm and their estate from any and all liabilities, and/or damages by fault of this dog after the time of sale. These damages include, but are not limited to, destruction of property and/or physical damage to any person or group of people.
This contract is made out in duplicate; the Seller and the Buyer each to receive a copy.
