Do you have a fenced yard that will provide your new puppy with a safe place to play? How tall is your fence?
Do you have any plants that may pose a toxic threat to your puppy if he/she chews on or ingests them?
Are you aware of possible health risks associated with taking a puppy who is not yet full vaccinated to pet stores, vet clinics, parks, and other areas where un-vaccinated/sick dogs may have been?
Are you aware that the first puppy vaccination is NOT the only vaccination your puppy will need? Are you opposed to continuing your puppy's vaccinations schedule after bringing him/her home?
It is impossible to watch an active puppy every second you are with them. Injury, toxic poisoning, & ingesting a foreign object are only a few of many dangers your curious puppy could be exposed to when left to wander without supervision. Crate training is not only humane, it may save your puppy's life and thousands of dollars in emergency vet bills. Do you support the idea of crate training?
Are you willing to provide a new puppy with vet care, shelter, proper diet, excersise, and lots of TLC?
Are there any rules/regulations prohibiting you from housing a dog at your residence?
When do you plan on getting a puppy? What breed, color, age, gender, and personality do you prefer?
Are you interested in a pet only, or do you plan on breeding your puppy in the future? If you are intersted in a pet only, are you opposed to spaying/neutering your puppy before he/she is sexually mature?

Are you knowledgeable about training a puppy, or do you plan on joining a puppy training class when your puppy is properly vaccinated?
