RESPONSIBILITY OF NEW OWNER:
You will be responsible for your dog’s health needs. These include routine veterinary care including check-ups and vaccines, daily
exercise, regular grooming. You will be responsible for your dog’s safety. You will properly control your dog by providing fencing
where appropriate, not letting your dog run loose, and using a leash in public. You will ensure that your dog has some form of
identification (which may include collar tags, tattoos, or microchip ID). You will be responsible for your dog’s quality of life. So
that your dog will be welcomed in your neighborhood, you will make sure that your dog never infringes on the rights of others by
allowing excessive barking, running loose, etc. You understand that basic training is beneficial to all dogs. You will give your dog
attention and playtime. You understand that owning a dog is a commitment in time and caring.
You may have bought your pup for many reasons-- companion, hunting, showing, and competing in areas such as obedience and
agility or other activities. While we have bred from lines that have had success in many of these endeavors, it is up to you to offer
the environment and training to your puppy. Your puppy is not born with any exceptional ability, but with instincts that need to be
developed by you, the owner and handler.
