Hip and Eye Guarantee
This certificate guarantees that the hips on the pup/dog will grade at least OFA Fair at 24 months of age. The buyer has until 26 months of age to have the exam done. The exam must be done by a veterinarian qualified to perform the exam according to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals guidelines. If the hips of the pup do not grade at least OFA Fair the X-rays must be reported to Sharptail Ridge Goldens immediately. Then a copy of the X-ray, and copy of this guarantee will be presented to Sharptail Ridge Goldens. We will not guarantee a dog unable to attain OFA certification because of non genetic factors such as an injury, or nutritional deficiency.
CERF shall be the sole judge of a genetic eye disorder. The diagnosis of the disorder must be done by a board certified canine ophthalmologist. We will not guarantee any condition resulting from a non genetic cause such as but not limited to injury, rough play, poor nutrition, fever or neglect. Results of the eye exam must be reported to Sharptail Ridge Goldens.
Seller reserves the right to request a second opinion within reasonable driving distance of the pup/dog owner. This guarantee will be voided if the dog has ever been bred.
At the breeder’s choice the following options are available:
1. Replacement by another pup from a future litter of comparable worth. OR
2. Full cash refund of the purchase price of the pup.
If either option #1 or #2 is exercised the buyer must do the following.
Send the dogs original AKC papers to Eric and Elisa Anderson and provide documented proof that the dog was euthanized by a veterinarian.
All tests, travel and other expenses shall be the responsibility of the buyer. Any false information given will void this guarantee. A Health Record will be provided at the time of purchase. Sharptail Ridge Goldens makes no other guarantee expressed or implied.
