Puppy Contract
Puppy also stands for "adult". This contract does not expire through the life of the
puppy. If contract is not followed the breeder will make the decision to take further
action.
Our Guarantee
I Julie Lahr -Toral (The breeder) guarantee that this puppy is free from any diseases
and genetic defects to the best of my knowledge. Buyer has the option of bringing
puppy to a licensed vet up to 4 days after sale for a vet check and if proven to be
unhealthy with a letter written by the vet I will give a full refund. Puppies are
healthy and well socialized, and up to date on shots. Puppy comes with AKC
registration papers if they are available. Otherwise registration papers will be mailed
to new owner after being received from the AKC. Sire & dam of puppies are OFA
certified or prelimed (OFA or prelim rating of Good or better on both sire & dam),
cardiac cleared, thyroid normal, and eyes checked. Hips are guaranteed until the age
of 3. If puppy develops a hereditary disease that is proven by a licensed veterinarian,
signed and authorized, it is then my choice to either replace puppy with another of
equal quality and age if available or give a refund.
Our Requirements
All puppies on Limited Registration must not be used for breeding and should be
spayed or neutered. Hips MUST be OFA or Penn Hip certified by the age of 2 years
before being used for breeding. All puppies bred by Lahrheim German Shorthaired
Pointers MUST have “Lahrheim” as the prefix of the registered name. If owner is
unable to keep puppy at anytime in it's life I am given first choice to take puppy
back or place puppy in another home and refund will be given back after the pup is
resold and breeder has been compensated for the money they have spent. Also buyer
agree’s not to resell the pup unless permission has been given by the breeder.
If puppy is placed in a show home, it is expected that puppy will be shown in a
healthy condition, and be free of parasites. Also I can not guarantee this pup will
finish its show championship..Also Buyer agree’s to write a check for $15.00 out to
AKC for the individual registration of the puppy when picking up the pup and then
breeder will send it to AKC. (This is to ensure the puppy is registered with
“Lahrheim” as part of the name and not transferred to anyone else.)
Pet quality does not mean in anyway your puppy is of lesser quality, if pup is on
limited and you feel that you would like to show then bring the pup back to me so I
can evaluate the pup and then the decision will be made to take off limited
Full registration will be given to future AKC show/hunt test/field trial dogs only and
co/owned with me until title is received.
I hope you enjoy your puppy as much as I do and remember they have lots of energy
and need to have exercise and be trained to live a happy life.
