Health Guarantee
Seller guarantees that the Dog is in good health at time of delivery. The Dog will have been vet checked and at least have it's first set of vaccines, been wormed, & health certified by a licensed Veterinarian if shipping is required. Seller highly recommends buyer to have the dog vet checked within the first 72 hours of dogs arrival. Buyer is to contact us immediately if anything is amiss during the first 72 hour time of arrival.
Seller also, guarantees the Dog against life threatening congenital defects until one year of age. If within that 1 year a veterinarian certifies that the Dog has or will develop (not just a carrier) a genetic health defect, such as PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) one of the defects in Papillons, the Dog may be returned, at buyers expense, for a full refund of the purchase price, less deposit. If either of these clauses are invoked, Buyer & Seller shall agree how to proceed, according to what is best for the Dog.
If said dog is being sold for show potential or for breeding, Seller represents that the dog does not have disqualifying faults according to AKC breed standards. All dogs have faults, so it is not guaranteed to be without faults.
All puppies sold as pet (companion) will be sold with limited registration only. AKC paperwork will be mailed to buyer upon receiving proof of spay/neuter.
All puppies sold as show/breed will be sold with full AKC registration.
No progeny of this puppy should be leased, sold, bred or given to any one supporting activity detrimental to the humane treatment of dogs, including litter lot sales, raffles, puppy mills, prizes, puppy brokers, pet shops, or for research experimentation.
If the buyer can not keep their dog, then Belladonna Papillons is to be notified in order to have first chance at getting the dog back and/or in helping to place it into a appropriate home. This is not a guarantee to buy the dog back.
