Tapfern Kennel is located on 6.3 acres in northeast Georgia. I have 2 acres fenced in so the dogs can chase butterflies, birds, and each other safely. I ethically breed for health and temperament. Potential breeding stock is tested and cleared for eye, heart, hip, and patella at the age of two years, and prior to being used in my breeding program. Puppies are sold with a written contract. Pet puppies are sold with spay/neuter contract and limited registration. Show puppies MUST be shown and cannot be used for breeding until all health testing is clear at two years of age. Quality not quantity is the objective of my breeding program. My dogs are loving companion first and show dogs second. I handle my own dogs and am currently campaigning Tapfern River Rising, my Bred By dog, and St Jon Happy Hooker my Open bitch. They have been very successful in AKC shows. See my website for show photos of their wins. Cavaliers are wonderful little dogs full of love and devotion to their owners. Please be sure you are willing to make the same commitment to love and care for them properly. Cavaliers must have a fenced enclosure, or be kept on a lead when exercising with their person. They have no fear of traffic and will run right in the middle of a road in a heartbeat. Many is the sorrowful owner that let them loose just one time too many. Protect your little companion so you each may spend many happy years together.
